Mission
To develop methods and instrumentation for measurement and control of ionizing radiations applied to Medicine, through the extension of radioprotection to the medical practices, formation of specialized human resources, establishment of collaborations among the participant institutions, and divulgation of the knowledge about radiations and their appropriate use.
