Sao Paulo School of Advanced Science (SPSAS) and XVI Jorge André Swieca School on Non linear and Quantum Optics
The Sao Paulo School of Advanced Science (SPSAS) will be held together with the XVI Jorge André Swieca School on Non linear and Quantum Optics. In this edition of the school, the topic will be "Frontiers in Lasers and their Applications". SPSAS will be organized by the Center for Lasers and Applications, located inside the Nuclear and Energy Research Institute, IPEN, at the University of São Paulo (USP) in Brazil.
100 Undergraduate (4th (Senior) year) and Post-graduation students will be selected : 50 from Brazil and 50 from abroad (25 Latin America + 25 other parts of the World).
All the expenses will be covered (air tickets, transportation, lodging and meals) for the selected students.
Top researchers from all over the world will give talks and lectures (including hands on activities).
2 weeks of intense lectures and experimental courses with hands on activities.
Students will discuss their research accomplishments in poster sessions.
