Radiations Metrology Department
The Radiations Metrology Department is responsible for thermoluminescent dosimeter production and other materials with application in personal, environmental, area and high dose dosimetry (in case of accidents and industrial applications of radiation). It executes services of in vivo and in vitro dosimetry and internal dose calculations. It offers also services of calibration of instruments used at the levels of radioprotection, radiotherapy and diagnostic radiology. The Department has as main partners the University of São Paulo and the research institutes of Brazilian Nuclear Energy Commission, and as main clients hospitals, universities, research institutes, private enterprises and industries.
